USO Motorcycle Ride and Festival
On a perfect Wisconsin summer day, I again served as a volunteer photographer at a USO special event. Nearly 50 bikes participated. The main attraction was a two-hour ride through the scenic Southern Kettle Moraine State Forest and surrounding area in Southeast Wisconsin. After the ride, live entertainment, food, a beer tent, a Jack Daniels tasting booth, and a silent auction tent offering valuable prizes rounded out the offerings.
The USO Motorcycle Ride and Festival took place at Wisconsin Harley Davidson in Oconomowoc, one of the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships in Wisconsin. Every rider or wannabe entering the store was tempted with the latest Harley-Davidson cycles, Motor Clothes, and accessories. Literally anything a biker’s heart could desire for the cycling lifestyle was available to satisfy their cravings.
