An Afternoon in June

Thiensville Farmer’s Market

On a pleasant afternoon late in June, my partner and I visited the Thiensville, WI Farmer’s Market, which takes place in the Thiensville Village Park adjacent to the Milwaukee River. We delighted in the sights and sounds of a busy day at the weekly market. A variety of goods were offered by the vendors, as shown in the photos below. We enjoyed lunch from the whimsically-named Marco Pollo Global Cluck Truck.

Fiddleheads Coffee

Taking a break, we stopped by the Fiddleheads Coffee Shop in downtown Thiensville, where we enjoyed delicious iced teas while sitting in the shade on the bank of the Milwaukee River.

Cedarburg Cultural Center

We concluded our outing with a visit to the Cedarburg Culture Center, where we checked out the current artwork exhibits.
