November arrived dry and cool, but amenable for another walk in the woods with my camera. Today’s desination was Cedarburg Bog State Natural Area west of Saukville, WI. Today I followed familiar trails in the northern sector of this large nature preserve. This was a great time of year to come back here, as recent cold nights have totally eliminated the swarms of mosquitoes which are a real problem here in warmer months.
There is a nice diversity of terrain at Cedarburg bog and a wide variety of vegetation, as you will see in the photos below.
