The article reads:

Enjoy a great opportunity to learn about lighthouses on the Great Lakes with a focus on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, including the Straits of Mackinac and along the shore to Milwaukee at the next quarterly meeting of the Ozaukee County Historical Society.

Lights of the Lakes is an original slide show by Phillip L. Block, accompanied by music and sound effects which add to his outstanding photography. Block, a Port Washington resident, is the speaker for the evening. You’ll see over 60 different lighthouses, plus slides of shipwrecks and historical subjects depicting mining and lumbering activities in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The conclusion is a photographic tribute to the Great Lakes ore carrier Edmund Fitzgerald. Block is a lifelong photographer, writer, and dedicated lighthouse enthusiast – over 6,000 people have enjoyed his program over the years.

The meeting will be held Monday at the Cedarburg Cultural Center, W62 N546 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg. The business meeting begins at 7 p.m., with the speaker’s presentation at 7:30 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments are provided; free, on-site parking is available.
