After three days of enduring torrential rains that flooded my town and damaged homes, cars, and yards, I was ready for a change of scenery. The sun finally came out today and the temperature and humidty dropped. According to the weather forecasts, this was going to be the best day of the week for a photo outing. Today was also the opening day of the 2018 Sheboygan County Fair, so that was my destination. I also have some new camera equipment to get used to, so all of today’s photos were taken with new gear.
I was raised a city kid, so I’m not really into the ag dimension of your typical county fair. However, I love photographing bright colors, and the midway at today’s fair offered a riot of color, shapes, and patterns. I wasn’t interested in doing any fine art photography. Rather, I just wanted to get out before summer is over, have some fun, and gather content for my next blog post. Here you go.
