On the last Sunday in August. a friend and I took in the 40th Anniversay edition of the West Bend Germanfest. Shortly after our arrival, we settled in with some refreshing Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel Bavarian beer as we listened to the Mike Schneider Polka Band crank out dance music. Later, we checked out the various exhibits and finally, made our way to the food trucks for a German-inspired lunch. All told, an enjoyable vistit to this long-running festival.

The Experience
Naturally, my camera went along to capture the action. Here’s what showed up in my viewfinder.
